Dr. Nathan Thompson is an Arizona native who graduated from Arizona State University with degrees in psychology and Russian. He later completed his Master's and Doctoral degrees from the American School of Professional Psychology. He has completed trainings with various populations including infant mental health, adolescent and adult substance abuse, sex offenders, and general mental health private practice. He has also worked with youth and families providing in-home behavioral services.
Dr. Thompson operates an independent private practice where he conducts psychological evaluations for learning disorders (including dyslexia), ADHD, Autism, and various other mental health disorders. He has conducted evaluations for probation, the court, and schools.
Dr. Thompson is co-owner of Arizona Police Psychology, PLLC where he conducts preemployment evaluations, fitness for duty evaluations, and post-incident debriefings for various law enforcement agencies.

Dr. Thompson provides psychotherapy and primarily uses cognitive-behavioral therapy. He has also been trained in Eye Movement Desentization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is often used in the treatment of Anxiety disorders including PTSD.
